Identification Canada Inc. is an accredited fingerprinting agency and has been in business for over 22 years. We have been helping people and companies with all their police check, fingerprinting, record suspension and US entry waiver needs. WHAT WE DO
POLICE CHECKS - turnaround 24-48 hours All verifications are done in the National Criminal Records repository through the Canadian police information centre (CPIC) which is generated and maintained by the royal Canadian mounted police (RCMP). The Client information collected by Identification Canada inc. and the name-based criminal police check requests are to be submitted to Canadian law enforcement agencies to perform police checks.
Identification Canada inc. establishes and maintains the required infrastructure and channels for submitting name-based criminal police check requests to the agencies with the hit/no-hit responses routed back to client / company.
FINGERPRINTING Only accredited agencies with a valid ORI number can submit fingerprints. As an accredited agency, we submit biometric fingerprints directly to the CCRTIS server. Processing time is 3-4 business days when records are clear. If there is a “hit”, processing times can go over 120 days.
RECORD SUSPENSION A record suspension (formerly a pardon) allows people who were convicted of a criminal offence, but have completed their sentence and demonstrated they are law-abiding citizens for a prescribed number of years, to have their criminal record kept separate and apart from other criminal records. We complete the record suspension application for our clients from beginning to end. We obtain a copy of the RCMP report, court documents, local police records check as well as complete all the necessary government forms.
US ENTRY WAIVER When a person travelling to the United States is refused entry at the border for having a criminal record in Canada or in any other country, they need a special permission to re-enter. This application allows inadmissible non-immigrant aliens to apply for advance permission to temporarily enter the United States. We obtain a copy of the RCMP report, court documents which we have translated if necessary, as well as complete all the necessary government forms.
